For a global Italian Company, leader in production of components and equipment within automotive sector, we are looking for the: 



He must ensure the achievement of the corporate objectives of global turnover and margin through the definition of marketing and commercial strategies / policies.

Job purpose: 

  • Defines strategic marketing activitiesin collaboration with the General Management
  • Plans and coordinates the implementation of initiatives approved by the General Management in terms of market development.
  • Feasibility analysis and business plan development to open new markets, quantifying the necessary investment.
  • With the General management, defines the strategies, the objectives of turnover and margin.
  • Ensures the development of the sales objectives and the annual commercial budget and long-term plans, ensuring constant monitoring of the market and defining the most suitable actions and instruments to achieve the objectives in line with the policies and with the image of the company.
  • He is responsible for the definition of operational marketing activities such as price strategies, distribution channel, product / service mix and communication / promotion.
  • Ensures, through the coordination of the commercial structure, the achievement of the sales and margin objectives, the management of the price list (guaranteeing the average level), the periodic verification of the sales level, the control of the costs of the business structures, the taking of support actions and product availability on the various markets.
  • Defines the organization of the commercial structure, the necessary resources, the incentive mechanisms and takes care of their professional development.
  • Ensures that the Technical or Production Department can receive any new market needs and directs the development of new products.
  • Directly handles relations with strategic customers and participates in complex or important negotiations.

The position reports to the General Manager

Qualifications and experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Economic or Sociology
  • At least ten years of experience in Sales management in transport components or automotive components sector.
  • Experience in sectors with a strong propensity for product customization and developed in multicultural / international environments, preferably coming from 1st tier suppliers of components for mass transit vehicles (buses, trains, airplanes) or for the automotive sector
  • Fluent in English
  • Good in strategic goals, ability to manage a global team
  • Leadership, strong orientation to problem solving and team working

Location: Central Italy with many business trips abroad
